SpiritVale Guilds Guide — How Guilds Work and How to Join One

Guilds are SpiritVale's home for the social layer that the game's RO-era design leans on: the game was built with the assumption that you'll have friends, a guild and a community — the same spirit that made Ragnarok Online's guild scenes legendary. Guild systems are live in Early Access, with more (guild-vs-guild, sieges) referenced as future plans.

This guide covers the guild UI, joining, guild storage, and what guilds actually give you in the current build.

How Guilds Work in Early Access

  • Guild UI: an in-game guild panel with search (find guilds by name) and applications (pending applications list).
  • Joining: search for a guild or be invited; applications are reviewed by the guild.
  • Guild storage: a shared guild bank — re-enabled in patch 0.30.10 after the item-exploit cleanup (it had been disabled alongside trading during the July incident; see the economy guide for the full history).
  • What guilds are for now: organizing party farming runs, world-boss calls (see the bosses guide), and the shared market/economy activity.

How to Join a Guild

  1. Open the guild UI (the same menu cluster as party and friends).
  2. Search for a guild by name — community guilds often post recruitment in global chat and the official Discord.
  3. Send an application and wait for approval (the UI tracks pending applications).
  4. Or get invited directly by a member — the fastest route is meeting people in party farming groups first.
Join early, not at max level

The 120–150 grind is dramatically easier with a guild: constant party EXP (300% at 12), boss-call coordination and vending/market help all come from being connected. Players who join guilds early describe the late game as a completely different (better) experience.

Guild Storage Details

  • Re-enabled in 0.30.10 — with the fix note "Trade/Vending/Guild storage re-enabled" alongside item-loss and exploit fixes.
  • Guild storage is shared inventory for the guild — used for pooled materials, group farming loot and helping new members gear up.
  • Be careful with access: with the economy's exploit history, only trust guild storage with members you actually know (see the economy guide for the safety rules).

The Future: GvG, Sieges and the Echoing Spire

Community coverage of developer statements references guild-versus-guild content and castle sieges for control of territory as planned future features, alongside a tower-style PvP gauntlet (the "Echoing Spire"). None of this is live yet, and there's no official roadmap (see the updates guide) — treat it as announced direction, not scheduled content.

No official guild feature list

The guild system is young and community-documented — exact permissions, member caps and recruitment tools are not officially enumerated. If a detail matters (storage access, member limits), verify it in-game or on the official Discord before relying on it.

Guilds and the Wider Social Layer

  • Parties (12 players, 300% EXP) — see the party guide.
  • Friends (friend codes) — the fastest way to keep a regular group.
  • Discord — the official server is where guilds recruit and world-boss calls go out (linked from the Steam store page).

For the economy angle (what guilds trade, market access), see the economy guide and the money guide. Guild recruitment runs through the official Discord and in-game global chat.

Official source: the guild UI and storage are documented in community system videos and the developer's 0.30.10 patch notes on the Steam news hub.
