SpiritVale Cards Guide — All 258 Cards, Slots and Best Drops

Cards are the heart of build-crafting in SpiritVale — the direct descendant of Ragnarok Online's card system, and arguably deeper than the original. Monsters drop cards, equipment has card slots, and the right card loadout can make two identically-geared players perform completely differently. Veterans consistently say the same thing: treat cards as a core progression system from day one, not as an endgame extra.

Quick facts: there are 258 cards in the current wiki database (v0.20.4), equipment carries 1–2 card slots, cards drop from normal monsters and bosses (bosses drop signature cards), and a card remover NPC (named Weaver, in town) lets you pull cards back out of equipment.

How the Card System Works

  1. Cards drop from kills. Every drop rolls independently (no pity, no weighted slots — see the farming guide for the drop math).
  2. Equipment has slots. Gear shows its slot count (1 or 2) — weapons, armor, accessories and headgear all take cards.
  3. Socket to gain passive effects. Cards provide everything from small stat bumps (+4% attack) to build-defining mechanics (reflect damage, MP siphon, elemental conversion).
  4. Cards can be removed. The town NPC Weaver is the card remover — you can pull a card out and re-socket it, which makes card progression flexible rather than permanent.
Weaver the NPC vs. the Weaver class

Don't confuse the town NPC named Weaver (card remover) with the endgame Weaver class — different things. The NPC is in town from early game.

The Card Catalog at a Glance

The wiki card database lists 258 cards organized by affix type. The affix names tell you the effect family:

  • Attack/power: Power (+Atk%), Sharp, Precision, Savage, Violent
  • Speed: Rapid (+Atk Spd), Haste, Mobile, Fleet
  • Hit/accuracy: Accurate (+Hit), Sniper (+Hit%), Bumble
  • Survivability: Healthy, Vital, Unbreaking, Titan (no knockback), Fireproof/Waterproof/Windproof/Stoneproof/Mudproof (element resists)
  • Sustain: Leeching (HP leech), Siphoning (MP steal), Energy (HP/MP regen), Vampiric
  • Elemental: Flaming, Frosty, Storm, Poisonous, Holy, Shadow, Umbral, Meteoric, Tidal, Quaking, Seismic
  • Utility: Light (weight limit per refine), Wizardry (cast speed), Cloaking, Volley, Flurry, Combo, Dancing
  • Status: Resistance (stun/slow/bleed resists), Immune, Purifying

Real card examples from the database:

Card Effect Affix

Bee Card Hit +25 Accurate
Boxy Robot Card HP Regen +25%, MP Regen +25% Energy
Bomb Card Atk +4% Power
Bat Card Kill → MP +10% Leeching
Bat Lord Card Siphon MP +3 Siphoning
Cactus King Card Reflect (scales per refine) Spiked

This is a sample — the full 258-card list with exact values is on the wiki.

Best Cards and What to Farm

Boss cards are the chase items — each of the 25 world bosses drops a signature card (Bat Lord, Cactus King, Angel Mage, and so on), and those cards anchor endgame builds. Farming priorities:

  • Early (1–40): Bee (hit), Bomb (attack), Boxy Robot (regen), Rapid-family attack-speed cards. These alone meaningfully speed up leveling.
  • Mid (40–90): element-conversion and resist cards for the biome you're farming — Cactus (earth resist), Fireproof/Waterproof lines, Leeching/Siphoning sustain cards.
  • Late (90–150): boss signature cards and the high-end affixes (Titan, Wizardry, Vampiric, Combo). See the bosses guide for who drops what.

For the drop mechanics — every roll is independent, and expected drops per kill equals the sum of drop chances — see the farming guide.

Card Builds: The Combining Principle

Cards combine with your stats, gear, artifacts and grimoires into the final build. Two community-proven patterns:

  1. Sustain-first farming: regen + leech cards (Boxy Robot, Bat, Vampiric lines) so you never stop for potions — the standard for long grind sessions.
  2. Element-focused damage: convert or boost the element your element wheel says the zone is weak to (weakness hits deal ×1.25) — pairs with artifact sets like Storm Quaver or Fury Brand.

The builds guide shows how cards, artifacts and grimoires fit into a complete loadout.

Don't vendor cards early

Beginner guides' #1 card mistake is selling cards you "don't need right now." Card removal (Weaver NPC) makes cards reusable, so a card you dismiss at level 20 may be exactly what your endgame build needs. Collect first, evaluate later.
