Fields of Mistria Festivals — Spring Festival, Shooting Star & Full Year
Fields of Mistria runs four annual festivals, one per season, plus the recurring weekly events (Saturday Market and Friday Night at the Inn). Two of them — the Spring Festival and the Shooting Star Festival — are the ones players search for most, because they're the most mechanics-heavy: both are collection events with ranking prizes, and the Shooting Star Festival is the game's date-night centerpiece.
This guide covers every festival, its schedule, activities, prizes, and stall runs. For birthdays and the weekly rhythm, see the calendar guide.

The Festival Schedule at a Glance
| Date | Festival | Theme |
|---|---|---|
| Spring 17 | Spring Festival | Breath of Spring flower collection + ranking prizes |
| Summer 28 | Shooting Star Festival | Stargazing date event at The Summit |
| Fall 10 | Harvest Festival | Queen Berry collection, dance, community feast |
| Winter 10 | Animal Festival | Animal contest with cosmetics prizes |
Weekly events: Saturday Market (after "Repair the Bridge") and Friday Night at the Inn. The wiki.gg event calendar also lists datamined future festivals (Cooking Contest, Beach Day, Crop Festival, Halloween, Gift Festival, New Year's Eve) that the developers have slated for post-1.0 updates — the update guide covers the roadmap.
Official source: the wiki.gg Calendar Events page documents the full annual festival schedule and the not-yet-implemented events.
Spring Festival (Spring 17) — Breath of Spring
The Spring Festival is a collection race. Here's how it works, per the wiki.gg Spring Festival page:
- Spring 14: a cutscene triggers where Celine tells you you can now collect Breath of Spring flowers and that the festival is on the 17th.
- Collecting: Breath of Springs spawn anywhere you'd normally earn Essence — farming, fishing, mining, bug catching — so they accumulate as a side effect of normal play. They're collected even from chests, so storage is safe.
- Ranking prizes (on the morning of the 17th, Celine collects your haul):
| Rank | Requirement | Prize |
|---|---|---|
| 1st Place+ | 60+ Breath of Spring | Deluxe Breath of Spring Wreath + all below |
| 1st Place | 50+ | Special Flower Crown + all below |
| 2nd Place | 30+ | Breath of Spring Basket + below |
| 3rd Place | 10+ | Breath of Spring Planter |
- If you don't rank, Celine comes in first, Errol second, Dell third.
- Stalls: Souvenir Stall (Nora & Holt), Clothing Stall (Adeline & Elsie), Food Stall (Maple). The festival's appearance upgrades as you collect more flowers (10-29, 30-49, 50+).
Breath of Springs drop from ordinary Essence-earning activities. Just play normally from Spring 14 and you'll clear the 50+ threshold for the Special Flower Crown; the 60+ wreath is for players who deliberately mine and fish hard that week.
Shooting Star Festival (Summer 28) — The Date Event
The Shooting Star Festival is Fields of Mistria's romance event — and it's why the keyword keeps rising. Details from the wiki.gg Shooting Star Festival page:
- Morning: Elsie greets you first thing and gives you a Shooting Star Brooch — even if you plan to attend alone.
- Inviting a date: give the brooch to any datable townsfolk. You need 4+ hearts with them for them to accept; below that, they'll suggest you invite someone closer to you.
- The event: talk to your chosen NPC at 8 PM or later to trigger the cutscene — you watch the stars together at The Summit. Day ends when the cutscene finishes, so do it last.
- The Caldarus option: talk to the Statue of Caldarus at 8 PM for exclusive dialogue and stargazing with him — a path for the Caldarus route.
- Rewards: festival furniture and keepsakes — the Star Lantern, Star Viewing Blanket, Star Cushion, Star-Shaped Cookie, and the Shooting Star Date Photo (a photo card of your date, placeable in your house).
The day ends once the 8 PM cutscene starts — finish your farming, fishing, and mines runs before you talk to your date, or you lose the afternoon.
Harvest Festival (Fall 10) — Queen Berries
The autumn festival works like the Spring Festival but with Queen Berries, per the wiki.gg Harvest Festival page:
- Fall 7: Reina triggers a cutscene explaining the collection window.
- Queen Berries spawn from the same Essence-rewarding activities; Reina collects them on festival morning (chest storage safe).
- Activities: prizes announced, a Dance, and a Community Feast.
- Stalls: Souvenir Stall (Nora) and a Pumpkin Patch run by Hayden.
Animal Festival (Winter 10) — The Animal Contest
The winter festival is a livestock show, per the wiki.gg Animal Festival page:
- Winter 7: Adeline informs you about the upcoming competition.
- Enter one Large and one Small animal (registration: Terithia for large, Landen for small).
- Prizes: win at least 3rd place to earn pieces of the Animal Festival set (cosmetics and decor); the Souvenir Stall sells animal cosmetics, food, and recipes.
- Famous contestants: Hayden's cow Sunshine, Merri's horse Swiftwind, and Louis's rabbit Mortimer all compete — the animals guide explains how animal quality scores.
The Animal Festival scores animal hearts and happiness. If you want the set, adopt and bond your animals a full season ahead — the animals guide has the scoring breakdown.
Festival Prep Checklist
- Spring: play normally after Spring 14 to bank Breath of Springs; check the gift guide for stall purchase opportunities.
- Summer: pick your Shooting Star date early — 4+ hearts needed — and keep the evening of Summer 28 free.
- Fall: Queen Berry collection is automatic; enjoy the feast.
- Winter: register animals before Winter 10; befriend them in fall.
