Remnant 2 lets you equip four rings at once (double the two slots of Remnant: From the Ashes), and there are 225 of them — 144 in the base game plus 81 across the three DLCs. Rings are the biggest source of build variety in the game: almost everything you can imagine is a ring, from cheat-death protection (Black Cat Band) to infinite stamina (Bisected Ring) to farm-boosting XP (Sagestone). How Rings Work
Rings are passive accessories — no stats to level, no upgrades, just their effect. You have four ring slots plus one amulet slot, and the combination is the heart of every build in the game. Since rings can't be upgraded, "better" always means "fits your build better"; most of the theorycrafting in Remnant 2 is about which four passives stack into a broken interaction.
Per the Remnant 2 Wiki — Rings: "Players can equip four Rings at the same time, unlike the previous game, in which players only had two slots max. There are 81 Rings added in the DLCs, and there are a total of 144 Rings in the Base Game."
Most rings are world drops — items that spawn randomly in a specific world's pool. - Ring of Omens — found in the Cathedral of Omens during a Blood Moon. It removes stamina costs from evades (costing 15-20% max health as grey health instead) and, with the right amulet, gives superheavy-armor builds the fastest dodge in the game. It's the defining ring for Leto Mk II tanks.
- Bright Steel Ring — Reggie sells it after you complete 10 worlds; it grants the fastest roll regardless of armor encumbrance. The budget version of the Ring of Omens combo.
- Bisected Ring — infinite stamina, at the cost of +25% damage taken. A staple of sprint-heavy and melee builds.
- Dran Memento — +20 max stamina and -5 encumbrance; the cheapest way to drop a weight class (see our armor sets guide for how weight works).
- Offering Stone — +1% all damage per ranged hit, stacking 15 times; one of the best sustained-DPS rings after a patch extended its timer.
- Hex Ward — immunity to Curse; irreplaceable in specific Losomn fights.
Rings Found in The Lament (Yaesha)
The Lament dungeon packs more rings per square meter than anywhere else in the game: the Ring of Diversion (in Kolket's Tomb), the Blood Tinged Ring (on the balcony overlooking the Red Widow's coffin) and the Berserker's Crest (behind the stairs in the flooded room). Hardcore-Exclusive Rings
Four rings only drop from Hardcore Mode (permanent-death) world-boss kills, and they're account-bound in spirit — earned once, they're among the rarest accessories in the game:
- Ahanae Crystal — defeat the Yaesha world boss (Corruptor or Corrupted Ravager) on Hardcore
- Dran Scavenger Ring — defeat the Losomn world boss (Faerin, Faelin, Nightweaver or the One True King) on Hardcore
- Provisioner Ring — defeat the Labyrinth Sentinel on Hardcore
- Drzyr Sniper Sigil — defeat the N'Erud world boss (Sha'Hala, Tal Ratha or the Spectral Guardian) on Hardcore

Rings From Nimue and Other Special Sources
Nimue, the goddess of the Fae in Losomn's Nimue's Retreat, is a crafting and quest hub tied to several rings: in The Awakened King, killing the One True King without talking to her first rewards the Jewel of the Beholden ring, and her other questlines trade into relics and amulets (she's also how you get the Crescent Moon bow — swing the Dreamcatcher at her while she sleeps). The Dark Horizon's new N'Erud zones add more rings (like Clear Halo at Athenaeum Wek and Ring of Crisis reported around Logistics Bridge) on top of the DLC's 31.
There's no inventory limit and no reason to hoard: picking up a ring you already own converts it to 250 Scrap automatically. If you're short on Scrap for a Prism of Greed (250,000 — see our prisms guide), farming duplicate world-drop rings is a legit income source.
