Endacopia Wiki — Game Overview, How to Play & Guide Hub (2026)

Endacopia is a point-and-click puzzle adventure by the animator Andyland (AndyL4nd), dressed as a retro computer-edutainment title from the 1990s and hiding a genuinely disturbing horror layer underneath. You play Mellow, a red-capped boy who has "lost all his senses" trying to escape an uncomfortable home, and who ends up wandering the surreal spaces inside a computer. It launched July 27, 2026 on Steam for $16.50 and is sitting on an Overwhelmingly Positive rating — roughly 9:1 positive reviews in launch-week data. This page is the hub: if you want mechanics, hit the linked guides below; if you want every ending and puzzle, those are one click away.

What Is Endacopia?

Endacopia is a surreal point-and-click puzzle adventure that deliberately imitates early computer edutainment software — think late-80s/early-90s kid programs with chunky pixel sprites, looping character animations and cheerful menus — but it is not a kids' game. Underneath the pastel interface is an analog-horror-tinged story with body horror, psychological horror, and jump-scares (content descriptors on the Steam page list blood, violence, death, drugs and distressing imagery).

The premise: Mellow, a boy wearing a red cap, "has lost all his senses" as he tries to escape an uncomfortable home. The game's own official guidance frames the world as being set inside a computer — a virtual space you map out like a location. You guide Mellow through this shifting, hostile world, recovering what he has lost and deciding how (or whether) he leaves. Our walkthrough breaks the whole thing into spoiler-controlled stages.

How to Play Endacopia

Endacopia is played almost entirely with mouse and keyboard (there is no controller support at launch). The official loop, straight from the description, is:

  1. Choose where to go — you freely decide which area to explore next, in whatever order you like
  2. Explore and examine — read objects literally; background gags and environmental details are often the clue
  3. Collect tools — your pockets fill with tools, toys, gadgets and literal trash
  4. Combine and use items — many puzzles are inventory puzzles: the right item on the right object in the right sequence (see our puzzle solutions)
  5. Brawl the monsters — in first-person perspective, Mellow uses his bare fists to block, dodge and punch enemies (this is where the manual reflex layer lives)
  6. Talk — strange individuals either help you or don't
  7. Push the endings — the choices you make (especially around Roger and the saws) decide which of several endings you reach
"The computer as a location"

The official walkthrough framing is to "map the computer as a location." If you treat each area as a room in an operating system rather than a fantasy dungeon, the puzzle logic stops feeling arbitrary. The interface is literal: read it like a manual, not like a metaphor.

The Developer: Andyland

Endacopia is the first full game by Andyland (Andrés Guerrero), an independent animator who built a large following on YouTube with hand-made, often unhinged cartoon animations. He is the creator, artist, programmer, sound designer and writer of Endacopia. The composer is Packtion, whose score runs the range from bouncy edutainment tunes to thin, tightening ambient textures that carry much of the horror.

The project has a long public history: a demo released on Newgrounds and itch.io, a successful Kickstarter crowdfunding round, and heavy Steam demo + Next Fest exposure that built a cult following before launch. Andyland has also had to publicly warn fans about fake unofficial AI-generated Endacopia plushies being sold on scam sites — a sign of how much goodwill (and demand) the IP has. See the review for how the full release landed with players.

Price, Platforms & The Demo

  • Price: $16.50 (Steam, launch price; list pricing shows HK$96.15 regionally, so expect regional variations)
  • Platforms: Windows only (Steam API lists Windows; no macOS or Linux support at launch). A Linux user reports running it via tools, but that is not officially supported
  • Single-player only, with Steam Achievements and Family Sharing
  • Demo: a free demo exists (AppID 4582420), covering the Prologue (Mellow's house). The demo ends at the bathroom toilet sequence — it does not continue into Chapter 1, it has no save system, and demo progress does not transfer to the full game
  • English is the only supported language at launch

Endings Overview (Spoiler-Controlled)

The full release ships four endings (plus demo routes). The three main ones are tied to a single Chapter-II choice involving the saws and Roger, and a fourth hidden The Yeti ending involves Andyland's in-game cameo. The ending achievements — Escape, Return, Stay, The Yeti — appear with no Steam description to avoid spoilers.

Ending Steam achievement Rough unlock rate Route
Escape ("Family!") Escape ~38% Give the Toy Saw to Roger → beat Henry
Return ("Family?") Return ~34% Give the Real Saw to Roger
Stay (secret) Stay ~14% Unlock A+B first → fight all optional bosses → 3 area secrets
The Yeti The Yeti ~7% Find Andyland → dancing mini-game

Full, exact steps for every branch are in the endings guide. Unlock percentages above are from Steam's global stats taken July 30, 2026.

You cannot see every ending in one clean run

Escape and Return are mutually exclusive branches of the same Chapter-II choice, and the three boss fight/avoid achievement pairs also conflict. A full 100% (all endings + all 16 achievements) realistically needs 3–4 playthroughs (or save reloads before the branch points). See the achievements guide for the exact route order.

Is Endacopia Worth Playing?

At $16.50 and roughly 6–6½ hours for a main story run (11–12 hours for 100%), Endacopia prices itself as a compact, high-density adventure. Its arguments:

  • The style is the hook. No other mainstream release wears the "early computer edutainment" costume this convincingly while hiding body horror inside it.
  • The horror is earned, not cheap. Mostly atmospheric and creeping, with deliberate jump-scares and dark imagery rather than constant shocks.
  • Free exploration means two players can have genuinely different first playthroughs depending on which area they tackle first.
  • The manual first-person brawls add a reflex layer you rarely see in pure point-and-clicks — some love it, some find it finicky.

If you loved the antique-app fade-in of analog-horror creepers (think IB-style horror mystery, or the playful opacity of edutainment-masking absurdity), Endacopia is an easy recommend — the best-value single purchase for point-and-click horror fans this window.
