hololive Dreams members: all 54 playable holomem by generation and branch, who's missing, how member quests unlock them, and where each roster pick ranks.
hololive Dreams Members — All 54 Playable Holomem by Generation
hololive Dreams (holodori) launched with 54 playable members drawn from hololive's JP, ID, EN, and DEV_IS branches — the largest single-game hololive roster to date, and confirmed in COVER's launch announcement (the pre-registration gifts were for "all 54 participating talents"). This guide lists every member by generation, explains who's missing and why, walks through the two ways to add members (quests vs. gacha), and points to the strength rankings if you're roster-building. The gacha side of cards lives in the gacha guide.

The roster above is cross-verified between Gamezebo's character list and the Roonby roster guide — both count the same 54. Note the Japanese count: 30 JP + 9 ID + 11 EN + 4 DEV_IS = 54.
Official source: COVER's launch announcement confirms the count — pre-registration gifts included "accessories for all 54 participating talents" — matching the roster table above.
Who's Missing (and Why)
- hololive English -Justice- — not in the launch roster
- DEV_IS FLOW GLOW — not in the launch roster
- HOLOSTARS (all generations, JP and EN) — the all-male branch sits out entirely
These omissions are explicitly confirmed by hololivetoday and Gamezebo, both noting "this could change in the future." Given ReGLOSS (the newest JP DEV_IS group) is in, the absence of FLOW GLOW looks like a timing decision rather than a policy one — expect additions as the game updates.
Graduated Members: Story Only, Not Playable
Members who graduated from hololive during production appear in story segments with their agreement, but they are not playable — Wikipedia documents this arrangement. It's a notable decision: the game keeps the story intact while the playable roster stays current.
How to Unlock Members
There are exactly two routes, and the free one matters more than most players expect:
- holomem Quests — two daily side quests unlock a random member in the 3D world plus one of their songs. Invitation tickets let you start a specific member's quest instead. Clearing the quest chain makes that member playable and unlocks their original song (details in the songs guide). A quirk from NamuWiki: two copies of the same member can't stand on the island, so a member's quest can show as blocked if they're already present — pick a different quest that day.
- Gacha pulls — cards add members to your card collection. Important distinction: owning a 5-star card does not unlock the member as an in-game avatar or leader option — you still need the holomem quest for that. A card gives you the card's power; the quest gives you the member.
Pulling a 5-star card is not the same as unlocking the holomem. The card is a deck piece; the member (avatar, leader rights, holomem Board, score-rate eligibility) comes from their quest. Budget your invitations accordingly — see the team building guide for why leader rights matter.
Per-Member Depth: Cards, Costumes, Boards
Every member has:
- Three card rarities (3★/4★/5★) with different skills per card version — two 5-star cards of the same member can be entirely different decks
- Attributes (Cute/Happy/Pure) and affinities (Performance/Sense/Technique) that drive team synergy
- A holomem Board — a per-member skill grid with four node colors (leader effect, music effect, deck member effect, overall effect)
- Live costumes and park costumes — Live costumes carry leader skills; park costumes are cosmetic chibi outfits. New 4★+ cards grant a matching Live costume; new 5★ cards grant a park costume
- A membership — per-member monthly subscription (mobile only) granting skins and resources; profits go to the member (per NamuWiki and the price guide)

Member Spotlight: Suisei and Pekora
Two members deserve specific callouts because they anchor the two metas:
- Hoshimachi Suisei — the rhythm meta's consensus #1 (score multiplier, top Performance stats). Full analysis in the tier list.
- Usada Pekora — the park meta's #1 (construction speed, mini-game yields). If your goal is materials and coins, she's the best free leader core.
For the full ranking picture across all 54, the tier list is the companion piece to this roster.

FAQ
How many members are in hololive Dreams? 54 playable holomem at launch: 30 from hololive Japan, 9 from hololive Indonesia, 11 from hololive English, and 4 from DEV_IS ReGLOSS.
Which hololive groups are not in the game? hololive English -Justice-, DEV_IS FLOW GLOW, and the entire HOLOSTARS branch were not in the launch roster. Gamezebo and hololivetoday both note this could change in future updates.
How do you unlock members? Two ways: holomem Quests (two free random quests per day, invitation tickets for specific members) and gacha cards. A 5-star card pull does not replace the quest — the quest unlocks the playable member, the card unlocks card power.
Are graduated members in hololive Dreams? Yes in the story (with their agreement) but not playable. Graduated talents appear as NPCs in story segments only.
