Escape from Tarkov Shoreline map guide: every extract and requirement, the keys that matter, Sanitar and Partizan, loot routes, quests and interactive maps.
Escape From Tarkov Shoreline Map: Extracts, Keys, Loot and Sanitar
Shoreline is the Azure Coast resort map: a long coastal strip split down the middle by a river, with the Health Resort as its beating heart — the best med/loot spawns in the game and the most predictable PvP on the map. Raids run 55 minutes with 8–13 PMCs, and the resort's locked rooms hold the game's most reliable LEDX and GPU spawns, which makes Shoreline the mid-game quest and money-printing map. This guide covers the extracts (including which ones need flares, lights or keys), the keys worth their flea price, Sanitar and the roaming bosses, loot routes, the quests that keep pulling you back, and the interactive map tools.

Shoreline at a Glance
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Raid duration | 55 minutes |
| PMC players | 8–13 (plus dozens of Scavs) |
| Bosses | Sanitar (Health Resort), Partizan (roams), occasional Goons |
| Central landmark | Azure Coast Health Resort (Admin, East and West wings) |
| Map split | River down the middle — spawn side decides your extracts |
| Signature loot | LEDX, GPUs, RSASS, bitcoins, keycards |
The Health Resort is what defines the map. Its three buildings — Admin (north), West Wing and East Wing — hold safes, PCs, weapon cases, key spawns and the best med loot in the game, and almost all of it is behind locked doors (GGRecon's Shoreline guide). The resort is also where the Tour story chapter sends you mid-game — the Tour walkthrough covers that quest specifically.
The river splits Shoreline into two halves. Your extract options depend on which half you spawn in, so the first thing every Shoreline raid needs is the double-tap of the O key to check your available extracts before you move anywhere.
Every Extract on Shoreline
Shoreline has a generous extract list, but most have conditions. The PMC-relevant set, based on the official wiki's map markers and the recent extract roundups (The Escapist extract guide, GGRecon):
| Extract | Side | Requirement | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tunnel | Southwest | None | The main west-side exit; exposed final approach |
| Path to Lighthouse | Northwest | None | One of the safest extracts on the map — always available, low traffic |
| Railway Bridge | Southeast | None | The east-side workhorse; stand against the train car on the bridge |
| Road to Customs | East | None | Shared by PMCs and Scavs; easy to reach from east spawns |
| CCP Temporary | East | Green flare / flare conditions | Not always active — have Railway Bridge as backup |
| Pier Boat | South-center | Boat lights must be on | Single-use risk; the pier is exposed from every direction |
| Scav extracts | Various | Scav-only | Admin Basement, East Wing Gym, Lighthouse, North Fence Passage, Ruined House, Ruined Road, Svetliy Dead End |
Pier Boat looks like a fast exit, but the boat is single-use and the pier is a shooting gallery — campers hold it from the gas station and the cottages. Treat it as a last resort, not a route.
The Keys That Matter on Shoreline
Shoreline has the biggest key economy in the game, and three keys cover 90% of the value (TheGlobalGaming's best Shoreline keys breakdown):
- West Wing Room 301 — the most consistent money-maker (~200K roubles on the flea). Room 301 has a loose-loot spawn, a graphics card spawn and a LEDX spawn on the white crate; through the balcony you can also reach Room 304 (weapon box, 2 PCs, two GPU spawns, an SV-98 spawn and two LEDX spawns). Two rooms for one key.
- East Wing Room 222 / 226 — a two-for-one pair (~50–60K roubles). Room 222 has a weapon box, grenade box, toolbox, RSASS weapon spawns and a physical bitcoin spawn; 226 has weapon boxes and multiple LEDX spawns. The RSASS is a Gunsmith quest item, so this key pays for itself.
- Health Resort Office key with blue tape (the "Sanitar tape key") — the most reliable LEDX spawn in the game, plus a PC, GPU spawn and medical supplies. Drops from Sanitar himself with a good chance.
Other useful keys: West 203/205 (mid-tier rooms), East 306/308/314 (weapon rooms with shared balconies). The rule for Shoreline keys: flea-price them against one good run — 301, 222/226 and the tape key all pay for themselves in a single trip when the spawns are alive.
The blue-tape office key is the one key to never lose — it is the difference between a 15-minute LEDX run and a 15-raid hunt. It goes in your secure container before any other Shoreline key.
Loot Routes: Resort, Cottages, Pier and the Rest
- Health Resort (Admin → wings) — the loot: safes, weapon boxes, med spawns, keycards (a Blue Lab keycard spawns in the ambulance in front of Admin), and the locked-room LEDX/GPU spawns above. The resort is where the PvP is; loot fast and leave.
- Cottages (west) — a quiet alternative: safes, tech loot and the cottages' two key spawns; good for solo players who want resort-tier value without resort-tier traffic.
- Pier and gas station — weapon boxes, jackets and a safe in the pier building; the gas station has an office safe. High traffic early.
- Weather station — meds, a safe and occasional key spawns; low-traffic route between the village and the resort.
- Scav Island (off the southwest shore) — a small island with a jacket, toolbox and weapon box; cheap and quiet, reachable from the beach.
- Hidden stashes — Shoreline has a strong hidden-cache network; a dedicated stash route is the safest money-maker on the map.
Sanitar and the Roaming Bosses
Sanitar is the Shoreline boss. He spawns in the Health Resort (usually Admin or the wings) with 2–3 guards, and he is a med-junkie: his guards carry the resort's best loot, and Sanitar himself drops the blue-tape key and high-tier meds. Fighting him indoors is a close-quarters lottery — the community consensus is to bring a shotgun or SMG for the wings and never push a wing without a teammate covering the stairs.
Shoreline also hosts Partizan, the trapper boss who roams (he can spawn on Shoreline, Customs, Woods and Lighthouse, preferring low-karma PMCs) — if you die to a tripwire or an ambush from nowhere, that was him (Epiccarry's Partizan guide). The Goons (Knight, Big Pipe, Birdeye) can also appear on Shoreline depending on the patch.
Per the official Escape from Tarkov Wiki — Shoreline interactive map, the map's markers cover PMC and Scav spawns, extractions, transits, loot, keys, quests and caches — the standard reference for verifying any Shoreline location in this guide.
Shoreline Quests: Why Everyone Keeps Coming Back
Shoreline is a quest magnet in the mid-game:
- Spa Tour chain (Peacekeeper) — the resort quest line (Spa Tour parts 1–7) with resort room objectives; part 7 alone needs 4 Morphine, 2 Alkaline cleaners, 2 Corrugated hoses and 2 propane tanks.
- Fishing Gear (Peacekeeper) — stash an MF-UNTAR armor and a Leatherman Multitool in a rowboat on the beach near the gas station; the multitool comes by mail (official wiki — Fishing Gear).
- A Shooter Born in Heaven (Mechanic) — the long-range PMC headshot quest includes Shoreline.
- The Guide / Wet Job / Revision lines — several chains require a Shoreline extract or a resort visit.
- Tour story chapter — mid-chapter Shoreline objective (contact the soldiers at the port terminal) unlocks Reserve (Tour walkthrough).
- Sanitary Standards and med-related tasks benefit from the resort's med spawns — same reason the gas analyzer guide lists the resort as a spawn zone.
One raid can cover Spa Tour objectives, a Fishing Gear stash, a Shooter Born in Heaven angle and a resort LEDX check. The same batching logic that makes the early-wipe playbook work applies on Shoreline harder than anywhere — every extra trip through the resort is another chance to meet Sanitar's guards.
Interactive Maps for Shoreline
Shoreline is the map where an interactive map earns its keep — dozens of keys and 500+ loot markers make paper-map memory painful:
- Official wiki interactive map — the fandom Map:Shoreline page with filters for PMC/Scav spawns, extracts, transits, loot, keys, quests and caches (Map:Shoreline).
- MapGenie — the popular community map with key spawns and stash routes; search "map genie tarkov shoreline" to find it.
- tarkov.dev — the open-source toolkit's map views (tarkov.dev) integrate with the game data.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many extracts does Shoreline have in Escape from Tarkov?
Around a dozen total: PMC extracts include Tunnel, Path to Lighthouse, Railway Bridge, Road to Customs, CCP Temporary (flare) and Pier Boat (lights), plus several Scav-only extracts. Availability depends on your spawn side.
What keys do I need on Shoreline?
The three essentials: West Wing 301 (also opens 304 via the balcony), East Wing 222/226 (RSASS and LEDX spawns), and the blue-tape Health Resort Office key (best LEDX spawn in the game, drops from Sanitar).
Where does Sanitar spawn on Shoreline?
Inside the Health Resort (Admin, West or East wing) with 2–3 guards. He drops the blue-tape key and top-tier meds; his guards carry the resort's best loot. Partizan and the Goons can also appear on the map.
Is Shoreline good for beginners?
It is a good second map — the open terrain makes fights avoidable, and the stash routes are safe money, but the resort is endgame-level PvP. Learn the extracts and stash route first, then graduate to resort runs.
What map is best for LEDX in Escape from Tarkov?
Shoreline's Health Resort is the most reliable LEDX source in the game (the blue-tape office, West 301/304 and East 226), ahead of Labs. LEDX spawns in loose-med locations, med cases and the resort's locked rooms.
