Beast of Reincarnation Trophy Guide — Full Roadmap & All Achievements

Beast of Reincarnation has a straightforward trophy list that's mostly grind-friendly: no difficulty-related trophies, nothing missable, and no online requirements. You can platinum it in about 30 hours across two playthroughs. The one catch is that several skill-related trophies are locked behind New Game+, so a single playthrough will never get you 100%. Here's the full roadmap.

Trophy List Overview

The game has 24 trophies: 1 Platinum, 4 Gold, 8 Silver, 11 Bronze — roughly. The trophy list is split between story unlocks, collectible grinds, combat-skills, and relationship goals. Two story trophies unlock automatically on the final chapter and cannot be missed. There's no online component and no difficulty-gated entry, which makes this one of the friendlier platinums in the soulslike-adjacent space — the grind is in the collectibles and levels, not in execution.

Key numbers to plan around:

Requirement Value
Time to platinum ~30 hours
Playthroughs 2 (Normal + New Game+)
Collectibles needed 323 (all)
Weapons to upgrade 21 Swords to +3
Ranged weapons 2 (Bow & Crossbow) + 6 arrow types + 6 bolts
Max level target 100
Rapport max Level 10 (Koo & Kagura)
Missable trophies None
Difficulty-gated trophies None
Play on Easy without penalty

There are no difficulty-related trophies, so you can drop the game to Easy for the first run and never feel punished for it. The New Game+ difficulty ("Reincarnation+") is comparable to Normal, so an Easy first run still leaves the second playthrough comfortable.

Platinum Roadmap — Step by Step

Step 1: First Playthrough (Story + Collectibles)

Play through the story normally. Since nothing is missable, don't stress about cleanup — but you can save a lot of time by following a collectible guide as you go, because you'll need all 323 collectibles for the platinum anyway.

Things to complete during this run:

  • All collectibles (Gourmand, Know-It-All, Happy Camper, Behold the Truth, Soul Returned trophies)
  • Upgrade 20 of 21 swords to +3 (Blade Enthusiast) — the 21st sword only enters your inventory on New Game+
  • Max rapport with Koo and Kagura (Closest Companion / Bestie) — talk to them in the Cleanse Walker, clean Koo in the shower, and let research projects run off battle XP
  • Cook every recipe (Gourmand) — recipes unlock through collectibles and story
  • Finish the story — unlocks "Life After the End" and "The End of Reincarnation" automatically
Sword upgrades only cost Amber

Weapons upgrade with Amber (money), not materials. A useful trick: before the final fight, save your game, sell everything you own, buy all weapon upgrades, earn the trophy, then reload to get your money back. Only the 21st sword (New Game+ inventory) stops you from completing this on run one.

Step 2: New Game+ (Reincarnation+ Difficulty)

After beating the game, start New Game+ from your finished save. This forces "Reincarnation+" difficulty, which plays comparable to Normal from the first run — if your first run was on Easy, the jump is more noticeable, but on Normal it feels nearly identical.

The 4 skill-related trophies (Blademaster, Floral Profusion, Giant Tree Budburst, Giant Tree in Bloom) only unlock here, because some Blade Arts, Finishers, and Skills are gated behind the second playthrough.

Also during this run:

  • Upgrade the final sword (21st) to +3 to finish Blade Enthusiast
  • Hit level 100 (The Perfect Pal / The Ultimate Vessel)

Step 3: Reach Level 100 Fast

The fastest farming spot is in the Crater Zone:

  1. Teleport to Crater: Outskirt (middle of the map)
  2. Head west into the big crater
  3. Kill the Whitered Beast that spawns there — it grants a large chunk of XP each time
  4. Teleport back to the Campsite, rest, repeat

Most players land somewhere between level 60–70 after two full playthroughs, so the remaining ~30 levels come from this loop. It takes roughly 45–60 minutes of farming at the end.

New Game+ and Reincarnation+ Difficulty Explained

New Game+ unlocks after finishing the story once. You keep your weapons, upgrades, rapport, and level, then replay the story against a scaled-up world on Reincarnation+ difficulty. Key facts:

  • Reincarnation+ ≈ Normal difficulty from run one
  • Your 21st sword appears in inventory after starting NG+
  • Skill unlocks (some Blade Arts, Finishers, Skills) are NG+ exclusive
  • Enemy scaling makes pre-patch farming spots still work — the Crater Whitered Beast remains the best XP farm
No New Game++ yet

There is currently no New Game++ beyond the second playthrough. Once you finish Reincarnation+, you've seen everything the trophy list requires.

Fastest Platinum Tips

  1. Play Easy on run one — no difficulty trophies
  2. Follow a collectible guide from Chapter 1 — 323 collectibles is the real time sink
  3. Reload-sell trick for Blade Enthusiast on run one (20/21 swords)
  4. Do rapport early — Koo and Kagura research projects level from battle XP, so the sooner you set them, the less dedicated grinding you do
  5. Farm the Crater Whitered Beast at the end for level 100

FAQ

How long does it take to platinum Beast of Reincarnation?

About 30 hours. The story runs take roughly 20–25 hours combined, and the remaining time goes to collectibles (323 total) and the level-100 farm in the Crater Zone.

How many playthroughs does Beast of Reincarnation require?

Two. The skill-related trophies (Blademaster, Floral Profusion, and the Giant Tree chain) are gated behind New Game+ unlocks, and the 21st sword only appears on the second run.

Are there missable trophies in Beast of Reincarnation?

No. Every area remains accessible after you leave it, and all collectibles can be returned to. The two story trophies unlock automatically.

What is Reincarnation+ difficulty?

It's the forced difficulty of New Game+. It's comparable to Normal difficulty from the first playthrough — an Easy first run will feel the jump, a Normal run won't notice much.

How do I reach level 100 fast?

Farm the Whitered Beast in the big crater west of Crater: Outskirt. Kill it, teleport to the Campsite, rest, repeat. After two playthroughs you'll be around level 60–70, and this loop closes the gap in under an hour.
