Beast of Reincarnation Codes — All Strongbox Codes & Rewards
While exploring Beast of Reincarnation you'll find locked Strongboxes scattered across every zone. Some open with a key, but the valuable ones need a code — and the game gives you no hints for them. This guide lists every strongbox code discovered so far, the rewards inside, and exactly how to get each one.
Here's what you'll learn:
- How strongbox codes work (and how you earn them)
- The Disposal Site code and reward (04180)
- The Cliffside Village code (08110)
- The Abandoned Village key-based strongbox
- The remaining codes found in later zones (07230, 01498, 02984)
- Whether redeem codes exist

How Strongbox Codes Work
Strongboxes are scattered across the world — each contains at least one reward that supports Emma and Koo's journey. The catch:
- Not all strongboxes need codes. A fair portion opens directly; only a select few are locked.
- Code strongboxes hold the best rewards — crafting materials, Spirit Stone Ores, Electronic Brains and more.
- Codes are earned by defeating Elite Enemies or progressing the story. When you kill the right elite, you receive a voice transmission with the code.
- Not all locks are numeric. Some strongboxes require inputting a sequence of directional buttons before a time limit runs out — those ones have no code to look up, only the pattern to learn.
Even if you can't open one yet, note its location and come back later — the rewards inside are always useful, and the code strongboxes specifically hold the best loot in the zone.
Disposal Site Strongbox — Code 04180
- Location: Disposal Site, northeast of the Abandoned Village in the Ogouchi Buffer Zone (just northeast of the Cleanse Walker). It's a large, partially destroyed site packed with enemies — the strongbox sits on the lower level.
- How to get the code: take down the elite enemy at the site; you receive a voice transmission providing the code — 04180.
- Rewards: 772 Amber, 1 Electronic Brain, 1 Spirit Stone Ore (S), 2 Torch.
Cliffside Village Strongbox — Code 08110
- Location: northwest corner of Cliffside Village (Ogouchi Buffer Zone), inside a large tent.
- How to get the code: defeat the elite enemy roaming outside the tent — the code is 08110.
- Rewards: crafting materials and gear support for the early game (mirrors the Disposal Site tier of loot).

Directional-Button Strongboxes (Timing Locks)
Not every locked strongbox takes a numeric code. A number of boxes around the world are secured by a directional-button sequence — a pattern you must input before a time limit runs out. These are the ones you'll see referenced as "timing" or "sequence" locks in community guides.
How they work:
- A prompt appears showing a sequence of directional inputs (up/down/left/right combinations)
- You have a short window to input the whole sequence correctly
- Mistakes reset the sequence — and the timer keeps running, so fumbling costs you another attempt
- The sequence is always shown, so there's no code to look up — only the pattern to react to
Timing locks punish rushing more than they punish patience. Read the full sequence before pressing anything, then input it deliberately — you'll clear most of them on the first or second try.
These locks exist because they gate the same tier of rewards as the code strongboxes — the best materials in the zone. If you spot a strongbox you can't open with a code, check whether it's actually a sequence lock instead.
Strongboxes by Zone
Strongboxes are spread across every region of the game:
- Ogouchi Buffer Zone — Disposal Site (04180), Cliffside Village (08110), Abandoned Village (Red Key), plus several sequence-locked boxes
- Ancient Civilization Zone through The Capital — more boxes, with codes 07230, 01498 and 02984 among those found so far
The pattern is consistent: the code boxes sit near elite enemy spawns, and the sequence boxes sit inside buildings, tents and ruins where the prompt is easy to see. Whenever you clear an area, do a quick sweep for both — the rewards (Amber, Electronic Brains, Spirit Stone Ores, Torches) feed directly into your upgrade budget.
Abandoned Village Strongbox — Red Key (Not a Code)
Abandoned Village Strongbox — Red Key (Not a Code)
The Abandoned Village strongbox is the exception: it doesn't take a code, it needs the Red Key. You receive the Red Key during the 'Path to the Sealed Lair' objective, and it opens the door leading to this strongbox.
The Red Key isn't a code — don't waste time looking for a number near the Abandoned Village. Progress the 'Path to the Sealed Lair' quest line and the key comes to you.
More Strongbox Codes (Later Zones)
Additional codes have been found in later zones as the community catalogues them:
| Strongbox | Code |
|---|---|
| Disposal Site (Ogouchi Buffer Zone) | 04180 |
| Cliffside Village (Ogouchi Buffer Zone) | 08110 |
| Abandoned Village (Ogouchi Buffer Zone) | Red Key |
| Unconfirmed location | 07230 |
| Unconfirmed location | 01498 |
| Unconfirmed location | 02984 |
The game released August 4, 2026, and strongbox guides are still being completed. Zones from Ancient Civilization through The Capital have strongboxes; as the community maps them, new codes appear — check the IGN/Eurogamer/Game8 wiki pages for updates.
Are There Redeem Codes?
The "codes" searches for Beast of Reincarnation are overwhelmingly about strongbox codes — there is no confirmed list of external redeem/reward codes at launch. If Game Freak publishes redemption codes (via events or social channels), they'll appear on the official Steam store page and community hubs; we won't list unverified codes here.
