All 10 Shift At Midnight Steam achievements: the 7 standard unlocks (First Blood, Silenced, Freed, Relentless, more) and the 3 hidden ending achievements.
Shift At Midnight Achievements — Full List & Unlock Guide
Shift At Midnight has 10 Steam achievements: 7 standard unlocks earned through normal play, and 3 hidden achievements tied to the game's endings. None of them are missable in the strict sense — they all unlock through natural play or deliberate choices — and a completionist run takes roughly 8–11 hours, mostly because the three ending achievements require three different Shift 12 decisions (or a save backup, see below).

Per the official Steam achievements page, "Silenced" requires you to "Kill a Shrieking Doll" and "Relentless" to "Finish a Hunt within 30 seconds."

How Many Achievements Does Shift At Midnight Have?
10 total — confirmed by the Steam store page ("Includes 10 Steam Achievements"), the Steam community achievements page, and third-party breakdowns. Seven are visible standard achievements; three (Grave Decision, Empty Home, True Ending) are hidden and tied to endings. There are no secret monster-kill or collectible achievements beyond the list below.
Standard Achievements
| Achievement | Requirement | Tips |
|---|---|---|
| First Blood | Kill your first customer | Unlocks on your first kill, human or doppelganger. You can't miss it — the gun behind the counter exists for this |
| Still Breathing | Survive your first Hunt | Let a doppelganger escape (or hit a Blood Moon), then survive the end-of-shift hunt. Traps + hiding make this easy |
| Silenced | Kill a Shrieking Doll | Dolls are jack-in-the-box creatures — wind their boxes in time or shoot them. Any weapon works |
| Freed | Kill a Demented | The Demented only moves when you're not looking. Place a bear trap in its path, look away, let it step in |
| Relentless | Finish a Hunt within 30 seconds | Much easier in co-op with focus fire; pre-place traps before the hunt starts to shave time |
| Last Performance | Kill a Marionette | Marionettes emerge from musical jack-in-the-boxes — kill them before they fully emerge, any weapon |
| Locked And Loaded | Purchase all melee weapons & fill out the weapons arsenal | Buy every weapon from the in-store computer: melee Brick, Baseball Bat, Sledgehammer; ranged SMG, Shotgun, Flamethrower. Save up steadily — they're expensive |
Weapon purchases come out of store balance (not your personal funds), so the achievement won't cost you the True Ending — but it does take consistent saving. Spread the purchases across the campaign instead of dumping everything on the last night.
Hidden Ending Achievements
The three hidden achievements are the endings themselves, decided by the Shift 12 Clyde call and your personal funds:
| Achievement | Unlock condition |
|---|---|
| Grave Decision | Call Sheriff Clyde after Shift 12 — he covers the surgery, your pet lives, Clyde dies |
| Empty Home | Don't call Clyde and finish below $250 personal funds — Clyde lives, your pet dies |
| True Ending | Don't call Clyde and finish with $250+ personal funds — both survive |
If you accidentally kill Sheriff Clyde during his regular customer visits, the Shift 12 call option disappears — locking you out of Grave Decision forever on that save. If you're achievement hunting, never shoot the real Clyde (there is a Clyde doppelganger on Night 9 in community rosters — scan him first).
Fastest Path to 100%
The bottleneck is the three endings. You have two honest options:
- Three partial playthroughs — finish one ending, start fresh, speed-run toward a different Shift 12 decision. Expect roughly 8–11 hours total.
- One playthrough + save backups — save after Shift 10–12 (the save folder is
AppData\LocalLow\Kwalee\ShiftAtMidnight), play each ending, restore the backup between runs. This is the community's preferred method — our save file guide has the exact steps.
For the money-dependent endings, follow the $250 roadmap in the endings guide: tokens and the prize wheel every night, keep the store rated high, never shoot humans. The True Ending achievement is the only one with a real skill/money gate.
Co-op vs Solo Tips
- Solo is fine for every achievement, but "Relentless" (sub-30-second hunt) is the one that can stall solo players — the Entity is tanky alone. Trap the approaches before the hunt, use the shotgun, and accept a few retries.
- Co-op makes "Relentless" trivial with focus fire and makes the ending grind faster since multiple players can split the store duties.
- Host progress note: co-op progress saves to the host's campaign, so if your group is achievement hunting, keep the same host for all 13 shifts. Your multiplayer guide covers lobby setup.

10 total: 7 standard achievements (First Blood, Still Breathing, Silenced, Freed, Relentless, Last Performance, Locked And Loaded) and 3 hidden ending achievements (Grave Decision, Empty Home, True Ending).
What are the hidden achievements in Shift At Midnight?
The three endings: Grave Decision (call Clyde, pet lives), Empty Home (don't call, under $250, pet dies), and True Ending (don't call, $250+, everyone lives).
How do I get the True Ending achievement?

How long does it take to 100% Shift At Midnight?
Roughly 8–11 hours: one full campaign (~5½ hours) plus two more ending runs, or one campaign with save backups at Shift 10–12 to skip the replay.
