Conan Exiles Console Commands: Full Admin Command List

Conan Exiles admin commands are how you fix the unfixable: unstick a player, teleport across the map, level a follower, spawn a missing item, or just fly for a look around. They work in single-player, co-op and private servers where you're admin — and they are deliberately locked out on official servers. This guide covers how to open the admin panel, every command players actually use, the teleport coordinate system, and the safety rules around spawning items.

Here's what you'll learn:

  • How to enable the admin panel (Settings → Server Settings → Make Me Admin)
  • The core commands: God, Fly, Ghost, Teleport and their syntax
  • Player commands: teleporting, summoning and following
  • Follower commands: leveling and stat editing
  • The TeleportPlayer coordinate system, with real examples
  • What works on official servers (nothing admin) and what's safe to use

Opening the Console and Admin Panel

The console is opened with the tilde key (` or ~, the key left of 1) on PC. To get admin rights on a server you control:

  1. Press EscSettingsServer Settings.
  2. Find Make Me Admin and enter your admin password (set in the server config).
  3. Confirm "Admin Rights Granted", close the menu — the Admin Panel now appears.

On single-player and co-op worlds you're admin by default. On private servers the admin password is set by whoever configured the server — see our dedicated server guide for where that lives in ServerSettings.ini. On official servers there is no admin password and no admin panel — those commands are disabled for players, period.

Per the official wiki's Admin Panel page, the admin panel provides "cheat access" to commands and spawns, and the in-game admin command list is the canonical reference for syntax on your current build — the same list we summarise here.

The Commands Players Actually Use

The full list lives on the official wiki Admin Commands page. These are the ones that come up in every help thread:

Command Syntax What it does
MakeMeAdmin MakeMeAdmin [password] Grants admin rights
MakeMeNormal MakeMeNormal Drops admin mode
God God Invulnerability (toggle)
Fly Fly Flight mode (toggle)
Ghost Ghost Ghost mode — fly + no collision
Teleport Teleport Teleport to your current aim point
TeleportPlayer TeleportPlayer X Y Z Teleport yourself (or a named player) to world coordinates
TeleportToPlayer TeleportToPlayer [name] Teleport yourself to a player
SummonPlayer SummonPlayer [name] Teleport a player to you
PlayerCanBuildEverywhere PlayerCanBuildEverywhere [name] Let a player build in restricted zones
LearnEmote LearnEmote [emote] Unlock any emote
LevelFollowerUpTo LevelFollowerUpTo [level] Instantly level a follower (max 20)
SetFollowerStat SetFollowerStat [stat] [value] Set a follower's attribute directly
ToggleDebugHUD ToggleDebugHUD Show ping/status debug info

There's also GetTimeOfDay, SetTimeOfDay and weather controls for server admins who want to skip the night cycle or run events — the wiki list covers the full set per build, since Funcom has added and renamed commands across updates.

God + Fly + Ghost is the admin holy trinity

God stops damage, Fly stops falls, Ghost lets you clip through walls. Together they make you the unkillable freecam admin — use God + Ghost for base inspections, and remember all three are toggles: run the command again to turn it off.

TeleportPlayer Coordinates

The TeleportPlayer command takes world-unit coordinates, not map grid squares. The official wiki publishes these for every notable location — for example, the interactive-map obelisks use values like TeleportPlayer 316990 118597 -10917 for Dagon's Eye. To teleport precisely:

  1. Open the console and run GetLocation (or check your coordinates via the admin panel's location display).
  2. Teleport with TeleportPlayer X Y Z, where Z is height (a wrong Z can drop you into the void — aim high, not low).
  3. For a named player: TeleportPlayer [name] X Y Z.

The map-grid letters/numbers you see on interactive maps (like D/13) are a different system — grid squares are for reading maps, world coordinates are for commanding the game. Our interactive map guide explains both and links the per-obelisk teleport values.

Spawning Items and Safety Rules

The admin panel's spawn interface is the reliable way to give yourself items (type the item name in the panel, set quantity, spawn). There is a console path too, but item spawning is where most "I broke my save" stories start:

Spawn with restraint

Spawning quest items, event items or story props can soft-lock a playthrough — the game doesn't always treat spawned quest items as "collected". The community rule: spawn gear and materials freely, but for quest/event items use the intended acquisition, or back up the save first. Single-player saves are easy to restore; on a server you're playing with everyone's world.

Other safety rules that keep admins out of trouble:

  • LevelFollowerUpTo caps at 20 — that's the max thrall level; trying higher does nothing and can desync follower stats.
  • Admin rights are account-wide on your server — don't share the admin password casually; the panel lets anyone spawn anything.
  • Commands persist per session — toggles like God reset on restart; there's no "permanent admin mode" you forget to turn off.

FAQ

How do I open the console in Conan Exiles? Press the tilde key (` / ~) to open the console. Admin commands then require admin rights first: Esc → Settings → Server Settings → Make Me Admin, with the server's admin password.

How do I use admin commands in Conan Exiles? Type the command into the console after granting yourself admin rights. The core set: MakeMeAdmin [password], God, Fly, Ghost, Teleport, TeleportPlayer X Y Z, SummonPlayer [name], LevelFollowerUpTo 20. The full list is on the official wiki's Admin Commands page.

How do I teleport in Conan Exiles? Teleport jumps you to your aim point; TeleportPlayer X Y Z uses world coordinates (e.g. TeleportPlayer 316990 118597 -10917 for Dagon's Eye obelisk); TeleportToPlayer [name] and SummonPlayer [name] move players around. Keep Z (height) generous to avoid spawning inside terrain.

How do I give myself items in Conan Exiles? Open the Admin Panel and use the spawn interface — type the item name, set the quantity and spawn. It's the reliable path; quest/event items should still be acquired normally to avoid breaking quest progress.

Do admin commands work on official servers? No. Official servers have no admin panel and admin commands are disabled for players. They work in single-player, co-op, and private/dedicated servers where you hold the admin password.
